Sake is a Japanese Sake is a Japanese alcoholic beverage that is made from white rice. Commonly referred to in Japanese as Nihonshu 日本酒, it has been made in Japan for over 2,000 years. It is characterized by its clear, crisp flavour and at time, fruity bouquet. It can be served either cold, or heated (“Atsukan”).

Sake can be served to compliment food, and Chef Akira Kageyama has carefully chosen a range of Sake to match a selection of dishes. Some of the Akatombo range of Sake is exclusive to the restaurant and not available anywhere else in Australia.
